If you've picked up this book, you're more than likely curious about Satanism, and/or want to know exactly what I mean by "Intuitive Satanism". My goal for this book and my temple are to unify sects of Satanism, providing either a philosophy that can appeal to all, or a standalone philosophy you would like to live by or build on yourself. Intuitive Satanism is about building your own philosophy, and growing in the way that feels most natural. You are, after all, a thoughtful, reflective, and social creature. This is the base philosophy, and hopefully you will consider picking up my other books as I expand on this liberating philosophy.

To go on a little about myself, I grew up in a Southern Baptist home in Indiana, and then later moving to different states seeing many other sects and religions of the right-hand persuasion, and walks of life. I eventually found that I was tired of feeling guilty and morally obligated. Guilty of doing natural and human things, and morally obligated to fix them. I found myself feeling guilty for learning about non-holy information, such as evolution. I had a way of thinking that others castrated me for. In right hand religions, deep thought is never a good thing in staying on the holy path. I also soon realized that this "Holy Path" was no more than a white line, to keep you controllable. Circular thinking and being closed minded are needed to stay faithful. I found that to preserve faith, I had to deny observation, and this left me unhappy and with no answers. When I denounced my faith, I was angry, and had no real awareness of myself or my surroundings. I found my center of peace, my sexuality, my integrity, and my freedom when I found Satanism. I found after applying myself to my own rules under the guidelines of this liberating religion that I was stronger and smarter than I would've let myself believe years prior.
