Philip Abrams is a father, husband, behaviorist, actor and writer. A graduate of UC Berkeley, he has a Masters in Special Education from National University in Los Angeles. Phil served as a technical advisor for autism on an episode of the "The District" and has also created a script about an autistic young man's journey--the way he perceives the world differently, and how that difference changes others' perceptions. It is his hope to see it brought to life on television.

Lorna Wing, MD, an internationally recognized medical authority, has been studying autism for over three decades years. She is also the mother of an autistic daughter. Her work with autistic children in the 1970s redefined the classic profile of autism and helped create the concept of autistic spectrum disorders. Throughout her career, Dr. Wing has developed practical and constructive ways for parents to cope with the wide range of difficulties experienced by families caring for autistic children. She is the psychiatric consultant for the National Autistic Society in the United Kingdom and her numerous books and papers have been translated into several languages. She lives in East Sussex, England.
