Thanks, Farmers is a musical tribute to farmers that encourages kids to express gratitude for those in agricultural jobs. The text of the book is new lyrics to the Shaker song, "Simple Gifts." The book illustrations show the song as a play or school production-and then provides the music to make that really happen.
