The famed Tartar Band of Compton, California's Compton Community College's Compton Tartar's football team's marching band, were the ultimate spirit rousers and morale boosters that any football team would have been proud of. They presented many fine performances - not only at Tartar home games but at guest performances too. On the classic recording presented here, the famed band pays tribute to the teams of the Big Ten - performing such great college themes as "I'm a Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech," "Notre Dame Victory March" and "Hail Purdue." All selections newly remastered.
