Recently, Swamp Dogg has been hailed as the Real Doggfather Of Funk by Spin Magazine, and has experienced a career resurgence with legions of fans rediscovering his highly original independently released albums. Presented here is a robust compilation of Swamp’s most famous productions including such iconic artists as Ruby Andrews, Gary U.S. Bonds, Solomon Burke, Bobby McClure, Doris Duke and even a few tracks by Swamp himself. All selections have been newly remastered.
