A very popular funk and soul artist in his home base of South Florida who first came to prominence in the early 1960s, Frankie Seay led the great Soul Riders - a group that was as good as if not better than a lot of the nationally known acts of the day. His early singles with the Soul Riders fetch high dollars in collectors' rare groove and Northern Soul circles when copies of his early 45s appear for sale. Featured here is a rare single from his later period when his sound was more discofied but just as funky, with Frankie's formidable voice leading the proceedings. Originally released in 1980 on the Miami based SAWAX label, "Just Party" b/w "Sharing Your Life" is presented here newly remastered and finally made available in the digital domain.
