Saffronkeiras electronic sounds and Mario Massa's trumpet wander unerringly through this musical landscape, from warm ambient sounds and rather abstract pieces to thrilling hymns and threatening sound storms. Sardinian sound researcher Eugenio Caria first saw Massa playing on a regional TV program, and was immediately caught by the musicians immersive playing style. Eager to meet him, Eugenio asked around until he found Massas name and phone number, then immediately called him and proposed a meeting. Massa had always dreamt of collaborating with an electronic music artist, while Caria had always been eager to work with a trumpet player, having been fascinated by the instrument since childhood. It was love at first sight.
