Ruse Empty City: Peking / Various

Recorded in China and Released in 1960 this opera tells the compelling tale of the defense of a city left vulnerable by a disobedient general. Both tragic and triumphant, this opera is an excellent example of the traditional Chinese art form of Peking Opera.
