Redd Hott #1

One of the funkiest albums to emerge from the early 1980's, Redd Hott #1 from the funk band of the same name, has become a huge collector's item in the rare groove market. Produced by soul pioneer George Kerr, the 1981 LP featured fat, bass heavy jams largely written by Reggie Griffin (of Sugarhill records "Mirda Rock" fame). The album, which boasted such memorable jams as "Big Fat Bottom" and "We Come to Funk," is finally available in the digital domain, newly re-mastered.
