Proven Player: The Instruction Manual to Building Character in Sports and Life - Paperback

John Powell originally created "Proven Player" to encourage and instruct athletes in the area of Character. He believed that there is so much that can be learned about one's character from the sports arena. He was able to see success when he took the University of Mississippi football team through this study during the 2014 season while serving them as the F.C.A. Football Chaplain. John served with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for 15 years until he recently left to become the Campus Pastor at Fellowship Bible Church South Campus in Jackson Tennessee. He is married to Holly and they have three children Joanna, Ezra, and Jotham.
