After receiving his undergraduate degree from SUNY-Oswego, he moved to Los Angeles where he earned a Masters degree from the University of Southern California. He is the author of three novels, Post Pattern, Fade Route and Bubble Screen. All three books feature Burnside, a private investigator and former college football star. Post Pattern was a finalist in the St. Martin's Press contest for new private eye mystery writers.
