Care has been taken in putting together this photo book paying particular attention to the font size, font type and coloring with dementia friendly awareness in mind. The font used is a non serif font which is clear and concise. The text for the bird names is not overlayed on the photo's like other books which can make it harder to read. The background to the font is a creamy yellow color with black font which has been found to have a good color contrast making it easier to read.
