Description
In Ron Ely's Night Shadows, Jakes Sands retires from his danger-filled life after his family is murdered, but he discovers a body while jogging and begins an investigation, leading to more corpses and deadly confrontations. Retreating to Santa Barbara to recover from his tragic past, Jake Sands walks away from the murdered body he accidentally finds, until he meets the victim's beautiful widow.

Ron Ely, best known for his role as Tarzan in the NBC series Tarzan, is an actor and novelist from Texas. Ely is also recognized for his part as the lead role in Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze. He hosted the Miss America pageant twice in the early 1980s and authored two mystery novels in the '90s.
