Susan Edwards Richmond is the author of a Parents' Choice Silver Award-winning and ALA Notable Book-nominated children's picture book Bird Count. A passionate birder and naturalist, Susan teaches preschool on a farm and wildlife sanctuary in eastern Massachusetts.
