My Struggle My Truth: My Battle with Polymyositis - Paperback

This is about how my life has changed due to an unexpected illness and how I've endured what I thought was impossible. I was inspired to write this book to hopefully inspire others who are dealing with an unexpected circumstances. I faced challenging situations as a single parent. Learn of the events that led to my misfortune and how I overcame and adapted to a new way of life. Life doesn't end, you just have to adapt to a new way of living and accept the hand you were dealt with. Despite my many challenges, I went on to pursue a master's degree in social work while maintaining home and caring for four children. Although I have been told that I'm an inspiration, I would not have done it without the Grace of God. And it is because of Him that I'm still standing.
