His training includes studies in mime, acting, dance, directing, commedia dell'arte in Milan, and avant-garde theater with Jerzy Grotowski's Polish Theater Laboratory in Poland.
As a certified neuro-linguistic programming trainer since 1985, Colgrass has conducted workshops throughout Europe, Britain, South America, South Africa, Indonesia, the United States, and Canada. His creativity strategies have been documented in Tools For Dreamers by Robert Dilts and his Deep Listening technique appears in Leaves Before The Wind, a collection of innovative NLP ideas.
