Side A presents a brilliant rendition of 'Wind Parade,' Donald Byrd's immortal 1975 masterpiece that has been widely sampled in hip hop. The iconic bassline remains intact, while Roni Alkekengi's transparent vocals and a bold substitution of flute in place of trumpet create a uniquely groovy interpretation. Side B is a refined cover of the 1972 soul classic 'People Make the World Go Round' by The Stylistics, which has also been heavily sampled and covered.
