'Their independent release album 'Chopsticks Wizard' in '76, the same period as Haruomi Hosono's 'Tropical Dandy' and 'Bon Voyage Co.', being one of the most wanted records of Japanese exotica, Masa Sato & Hong Kong Flowers are known to many enthusiastic music fans as the hidden gem of the 70's. The rare 45 single they released in the same year, 'Momomusume / NIPPONESE DREAM', is now being reissued. Their unique sound appears as a mixture of Showa Kayokyoku and exotica, making one feel the sunset breeze in an fictitious countryside village.
