Accomplished artist, designer, and gifted writer, Bren frequently uses her creativity to point others to the relentless loving heart of the Father. Never one to give up despite challenges and hardships, she transparently reveals her own, sometime painful, sometimes delightful, life lessons. She and her husband have been in ministry for 20+ years, primarily in youth ministry and praise and worship. Seven years ago, they moved to Mena Arkansas with a dream to create an alternative housing community for people who might need a leg up in life, and to provide mentoring both in trade and life skills. Ultimately their goal is to help keep families together while walking out of difficult circumstances whatever they might be. One day while driving down the road, Bren asked the Lord, "What do you want from me?" She heard the Lord say, "I want you to love like Jesus." That day they named their ministry Love Like Jesus.
