Leading others is challenging, making it hard to figure out the best way to lead and to do it well. With all the busyness and stress that comes with leadership, it can be difficult to keep our faith central. Can you relate to the following struggles that leaders face? In today's culture, everyday leaders face challenging times:

  • Church leaders struggle to lead their ministries and teams well at a time when the needs of the community are very high, and people are hurting.
  • Business leaders struggle to manage profit, people, and principles in a success-driven culture.
  • Educators struggle to lead their schools and students well with limited funding and high expectations.
  • Parents wrestle with how to lead their kids and families well in a biblically hostile world.
  • Coaches and players find it difficult to lead their teams well when the pressure to win is high and individual player success threatens to pull the team apart.
  • Students struggle to lead their peers well when popularity, social media, and the stress of life rub against their faith.

All of these struggles make it hard for the everyday leader to navigate how to integrate their faith into their leadership.

As authors, we have been church leaders, business leaders, educators, parents, coaches, and students, and we know how challenging it is to lead well. Leading well is hard work with many obstacles, but it is possible to lead with faith and to overcome these challenges. We empathize with those of you on the front lines of leadership and in the leadership trenches trying to keep Christ at the center of your lives.

Would you like to become an even better leader and improve your leadership, enhance your effectiveness, and increase your impact with a faith-centered approach? We hope you do because this course is full of practical principles on leading well that relate to your leadership within your company, team, church, school, or family. Investing in your own leadership development is a great decision with huge benefits for you and the people around you. So, let's jump right in!
