You Know / Tail Light (Digital 45)

Singer-songwriter Melvin Koen recorded and released "You Know" and the flip side "Tail Light" for Tommy Robinson's New York City-based, independent label, Atlas Records in 1959. "You Know" is an up-tempo rock 'n roller with a heavy dose of doo-wop influence while "Tail Light" takes things down to a slow simmer. While Koen went on to pen a handful of songs for other artists, it looks like this Atlas 45 was his only release. This obscure single has been freshly remastered and is finally available in the digital domain in it's original format. .
