Kansas-bred, New York-based Freedy Johnston 1st came to the attention of critics and discerning pop fans with 2 acclaimed indie releases. With his 1994 major label debut, Perfect World, and his brooding hit single "Bad Reputation," Freedy increased his audience five-fold. His illustrative songwriting is again front and center on Blue Days, Black Nights (co-produced by T-Bone Burnett), which features the 1st single, "Changed Your Mind."
