The remastered reissue of the classic Hiss Golden Messenger album features brand-new artwork designed in close collaboration between M. C. Taylor and artist Sam Smith, along with newly penned liner notes by Amanda Petrusich (The New Yorker). This release is part of the limited-edition deluxe Hiss box set titled Devotion: Songs About Rivers and Spirits and Children which also includes remastered reissues of Bad Debt and Haw as well as Virgo Fool, a bonus album of Hiss rarities physically available only with the box set.
