On Wings of Love

Former lead singer for the legendary early 1970's soul group the Escorts - who hold the distinction of being the only group to start their recording career behind bars - Reginald Haynes recorded his rare solo album in 1986 - a dozen years after the success of his former group. The album "On Wings of Love" features Haynes in great form, leading a tight R&B outfit featuring Ronald King (bass); Arthur Jones (keyboards); Vinnie Partesi (piano, organ, synthesizer); Steve Carter (background vocals); Art Garner (background vocals) and Valarie Martin (background vocals). Finally available in the digital domain, all selections have been newly re-mastered.
