This is an inspirational love story about how my wife and I were brought together by Traumatic Brain Injuries. It takes us and our families through the pain, grief, acceptance, rediscovery, and rehabilitation process necessary to overcome these injuries. This moving story provides an understanding into the struggles of individuals going through the long recovery process from a brain injury. In 1986 we were both involved in separate, near fatal, single motor vehicle crashes involving alcohol that ended with Traumatic Brain Injury.
