Warg, Ilse-Rose: - Dr. Ilse-Rose Warg was born in Germany in 1936, experiencing the Third Reich, WWII, and the Occupation. After attending the Medau Schule, she earned her Gymnastics and Sports certificate from Bavaria's Sportakademie Grünwald. She became an exchange teacher in Bethlehem, PA, where she met her future husband, Jamison B. Warg. They married, moved permanently to the US, and adopted two children. She later earned her PhD in German literature, language, philosophy and culture. After teaching at various universities, she retired in 2016. She currently lives with her husband and dog, and is active in her local community and church.
