Ganafoul (which means 'like a madman' in the local dialect), formed at the foot of the factory chimneys, is a product of, and even partly at the origin of, the rich Givordine scene of the 70s, and remains to this day the finest French national heavy-blues jewel of all periods and regions. Ganafoul made an entire generation tremble. Since the reissues of Full Speed Ahead in 2022 and Saturday Night in 2023, followed by an album, Roll On, featuring new studio versions of old tracks and a few live bonuses, the band's hypothetical return to the forefront was becoming more and more of a reality, and the wishes of the most penitent and tenacious fans were finally going to be granted! Ganafoul, still led by the lively Jack Bon, are back with a bang! Accompanied by Yves Rotacher on drums, Edouard Gonzalez on guitar and Luc Blackstone on bass, the quartet locked themselves away in Lyon's Studio Magnéto in October to give birth to 'Dangerous Times'. Eleven feverish tracks, bathed in the burning oil of sider rock (surgical siderurgy rock!) set this new album alight. Ganafoul are quick to point out their many influences, including AC/DC, Status Quo and The Angels. The cover, featuring the famous tricks of master of ceremonies Jack Bon (hat, hats and guitars), was designed by the famous photographer Eddy Brière.
