Hewett, Dina: -

Dina Hewett, PhD, RN, CCRN, NEA-BC, received her BSN from Brenau University, MSN from Georgia Southern University, and PhD in higher education from the University of Georgia. Her certifications include Critical Care Registered Nurse (Alumnus) and Nurse Executive Advanced. She is also certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Dr. Hewett has over 30 years of experience as a critical care nurse, and her career has encompassed both hospital administration and academics. During her tenure in hospital administration, she served as the unit manager of the cardiothoracic ICU and director of nursing of multiple units, including critical care, inpatient rehabilitation, and respiratory therapy.

Dr. Hewett is an AACN-Wharton Executive Fellow, a treasurer of the Georgia Nurses Association, a board member of the Georgia Association of Nursing Deans and Directors, and a member of the Education Committee of the Georgia Board of Nursing.
