Oo-Pa-Ba-Do (How Do You Do) / One More Kiss Goodnight (Digital 45)

Not to be confused with the soul vocal group from the New Jersey area who were all prison convicts, or the teenage band that became the Allman Brothers - The Escorts featured here were an early rock n' roll outfit that recorded one excellent single in 1959 on the Wells Records label that appears to be their only release. "Oo-Pa-Ba-Do (How Do You Do)" b/w "One More Kiss Goodnight" features a catchy upbeat, horn-driven rocker on the A-side and a rockabilly infused rave up complete with a rockin' saxophone and a hicuppy vocal in the style of Gene Vincent on the flip. This ultra-rare piece of rock n' roll history is presented here lovingly remastered for this exclusive release and finally made available in the digital domain
