Max has pastored the Madison Heights Church of God in Christ, Shekinah Glory Ministries for 24 years. He was saved in 1977, filled with the Holy Ghost and faithfully continued his walk in the Lord. Max was Ordained a Minister in the year of 1979, and Ordained an Elder in 1984. The following year October 1985 Max was appointed pastor of Madison Heights Church of God in Christ. The little church quickly became too small for the attendance. Max started a building fund drive to build a larger Edific in 1986; we were blessed of the Lord to build our new church which is where we now worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Max was appointed Superintendent over 6 Churches in the St. Augustine District in the year of 2005. We are located in Daytona Beach Florida with outreach ministries throughout the world by sowing of seeds in TV ministries, feeding the hungry, ministering to the homeless, nursing home, street evangelism, outreach preaching etc. Max is the founder and pastor of Shekinah Glory Ministries, located in Daytona Beach Florida in the year of 1997. Since then the Ministry has continued to experience growth and the manifestation of the power of God. Max is married to the love of his life, Abbie Hawkins: and to this union they have three sons, Benjamin, Bryan and Bobby, and one adopted son, David. And we appreciate what God has done.
