Anne Quarles, a former high school English Teacher from St. Petersburg, returned to the Gulf Coast of Florida after stints teaching communication courses for the University of New Hampshire and New York's College of St. Rose. During her tenure as basketball coach at Gibbs High School, Quarles' teams posted a 187-35 (.842) win/loss record. Drawing on those experiences, she delivered motivational keynote speeches throughout the country.
