Em Bruce is an award-winning children's author and editor based in Sydney, Australia. She loves creating playful stories full of heart and imagination that inspire, delight and enchant little readers everywhere.

Beatrice was born and raised in Bologna, Italy, where she works as a freelance illustrator, author, and visual artist. After studying Fine Art Painting, she trained in Medical Illustration and Animation. In 2016, she left a 15-year career in graphic design to focus on children's illustration. Her debut book as author/illustrator will be published by Emme Edizioni. She lives with her sassy black cat, Lapo, and is also a DJ with a growing vinyl collection.
