Produced by Troy Donockley, the album marked a return to her folk roots with an eclectic selection of songs including traditional and classical material and more contemporary songs such as The Everly Brothers' 'Living Too Close to the Ground' and 'Faithless Love', the JD Souther song made famous by Linda Ronstadt.
