Joanne Ciresi Barrett is a freelance designer specializing in active sportswear and owner of Joanne Ciresi Barrett Designs. She was an instructor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston for seven years, teaching fashion illustration, portfolio presentation, and accessory design courses. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, her career spans 14 years as a designer/design director for major fashion firms, such as Oleg Cassini Sport, Le Coq Sportif, Danskin, and Reebok, International.
