Mark Bonta is Assistant Professor of Earth Sciences at Penn State Altoona. He is a leading proponent of the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze as applied to geography pedagogy and to theories of spatial complexity.

John Protevi is Associate Professor of French Studies at Louisiana State University. He is the author of Time and Exteriority (Bucknell, 1994); and Political Physics (Athlone, 2001); the editor of The Edinburgh Dictionary of Continental Philosophy (Edinburgh University Press, 2005); and co-author, with Mark Bonta, of Deleuze and Geophilosophy (Edinburgh, 2004).
