Details: 2015 album by the Los Angeles-based outfit. All Your Favorite Bands, produced by David Rawlings, is Dawes' fourth studio album. Dawes has been lumped into genres such as folk-rock and Americana yet they belong to no specific musical trend. Like The Byrds, Jackson Browne, The Eagles, Warren Zevon, Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash, the melting-pot that is California has informed their sound and created something that rises above any musical movement. Like Wilco, The Jayhawks and other like-minded bands, Dawes do not let labels define them. Dawes is composed of brothers Taylor (guitars and vocals) and Griffin Goldsmith (drums), along with Wylie Gelber (bass) and Tay Strathairn (keyboards).
