The Corporation formed at the Galaxy Club in Cudahy, a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1968 when the musical climate of the times began veering towards a more studied approach, while retaining elements of the earlier garage sound. The band comprised various Wisconsin musicians from other local bands including brothers John and Nicholas Kondos who wrote most of the songs, and Danny Peil, a scorching vocalist with a long recording history.
