Songs like "Mississippi Queen", "Nantucket Sleighride", "Theme From an Imaginary Western" and "Blood of the Sun", to name only a few, belong to the memorable classics of rock music that even decades after their creation haven't lost any of their vibes and fascination. Founded in 1969, the band has a turbulent history, as is expected of a formation existing for such a long time. Mountain in it's original line-up only existed for three years but during that time the band was unusually productive and successful and even won three gold discs. After briefly renaming the band and multiple changes in line-up, the band can be experienced here with founding member Laurence "Corky" Laing of the band and his colleagues Phil Parker and Joe Venti.
