The stories of 15 combat veterans in this book tell experiences of average Americans that fought, in World War II, on Pacific islands, in China, and in Burma. They relate much previously unavailable information, about the military in which they served and the battles in which they fought. This book is a "must read", for those that think they have read all there is to know about World War II.
