Born Cynthia Coleman in Newark, New Jersey, vocalist Ann Cole began her recording career in the early 1950’s with a gospel group she fronted called The Colemanaires and then went on to record as Ann Cole throughout the 1950’s and into the early 1960’s before an automobile accident confined her to a wheelchair. Presented here is Ann’s classic single “A Love Of My Own” b/w “Brand New House,” originally released in 1960 on the Sir label. Newly remastered.
