She recognized the need to address the children's feelings of insecurity, uncertainty, low self-esteem, and their need to know their value and worth as indiviuals created by God. She also wants them to know that valuable lessons and gifts can come from our diffi cult times, and that God is always with them. She has expressed these messages through the story of Chipper. a young chipmunk who lived in several foster homes, a common experience for many foster children.
