Cheecho Gonzales' father has mysteriously gone away and he desperately wants him to return. When the 10-year-old learns he has magic powers (we're talking flying pigs, a crystal ball fish tank and magically appearing enchiladas), he befriends a broken down magician, Mr. Magico, to help bring his father home.

If Cheecho's magic is powerful enough, it can return his father to him and heal the heart of the lonely, old magician - if not he may be separated from his father forever and his friend will fall into further ruin.
