Month after month, the producer Michel Lévy reissues the treasures of the Dounia oriental music catalog, originally owned by the Tunisian musician El Kahlaoui Tounsi. After a section devoted to Jewish singers from Algeria, two new CDs are released: Jewish Singers of Tunisia and Jewish Singers of Morocco. The present CD Jewish Singers of Tunisia offers us the possibility to listen to anthology pieces of Raoul Journo, Cheïkh El Afrite, El Kahlaoui Tounsi, Louisa Tounsia, José de Suza, Hbiba Msika and many others.
