Gracefully walking the gossamer line that separates jazz and Brazilian music, the venerable Oscar Castro-Neves offers up a collection of original and classic tunes that fuses his distinctive guitar stylings with the equally refined talents of Don Grusin, Toots Thielemans, Charlie Bisharat and Gary Meek. Castro-Neves is an icon in the Brazilian and jazz communities, and he's played with Joe Henderson, Don Grusin, Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, and Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66. He has arranged, conducted and orchestrated for numerous artists including Quincy Jones, Joao Gilberto, Yo Yo Ma, Ottmar Leibert and Paul Winter.
