Schumann: Humoreske, Davidsbündlertänze - 2010 recipient of a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship Award, Italian pianist Gabriele Carcarno has studied under Mitsuko Uchida, Richard Goode and Alfred Brendel. Brendel worked closely with Carcano on the preparation of this all Schumann program, which features the Humoreske and Davidsbuündleränze. A young pianist of extraordinary talent, Carcano's 2016 debut album on Oehms Classics was highly praised by BBC Music Magazine, Radio 3 Record Review and Fonoforum and received a Supersonic award from Pizzicato magazine.
