Darty, Christina Ann: - Christina Darty is the daughter of David Canzoneri. She attended Texas A&M University-Commerce on the honors scholarship and graduated with a BFA in Painting. She now lives in Commerce with her husband, Jake. After working with young kids for many years, she is excited to use her artistic ability to create this book which stems from her own childhood. She and her siblings always enjoyed singing the tooth brushing song with their dad. Her delightfully playful pictures are a perfect fit for Brush Your Little Pearly Whites!Canzoneri, David Arden: - David Canzoneri lives with his wife Carrie in Commerce, Texas, his home since 1985. After he graduated from the University of Arizona, where he majored in creative writing, he worked at Arizona's largest used bookstore. His association with books continued in Commerce as he ran the Cornerstone Bookstore which was the official book provider for Bill Martin Jr's conferences. It was that association with Bill that gave David the impetus to take his lifelong love of writing and develop Brush Your Little Pearly Whites and many other titles to come in the future. A kindergarten teacher for 13 years, and a parent of four kids, David has a real love for young kids and a deep concern for them to develop their language skills, as well as a desire for them to have clean teeth!
