Despite her premature passing, Olfers' legacy endures, a testament to the enduring magic of her creativity and storytelling.Van Der Leeden, Katrin: - Katrin van der Leeden was born and raised in Germany, where she attended the University of Munich to complete her Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics (German as a Foreign Language), Art History, and Literature. In 1994, Katrin van der Leeden immigrated to Canada, where she obtained a Bachelor of Education, as well as a Master of Education from the University of Victoria. Since 2000, she has been working as a teacher in both high school and elementary school in Victoria, BC, Canada.
