Hey, Kassidy Brewer here, the voice behind the creator of the book. Like you've read, I'm that type of gal who doesn't give up when times get hard. Relying on Christ is my only lifeline. Knowing and understanding that life can be destructive and devastating at times but when Elohim is in the picture, life doesn't fail us.
I enjoy seeing life for what it truly is, beautiful, hard, challenging, encouraging, testing, fun! I saw my circumstances and thought, well this is going to be impossible. But then I thought, hey, I have Jesus Christ in me. He's the powerful one, the mighty one, the one with all authority and He's in me. Why wouldn't I step aside and let Him take over? In the day-to-day battle, I look to faith to get me through. Not in a false sense of surviving to get through but to hand over my hopes and give them to God of how He wants me to thrive in my weaknesses. Nowadays, I view weaknesses as a form of a person's story. It's a part of their story that's hard, that they might not like but it's part of em' whether they like it or not. Adonai enabled me to see this horrific event that was supposed to kill me as something I've fully accepted and learned to flourish with what I've been given. I was picked and pruned from all of the things I thought would fulfill me and was set to only be on the path of life.
My story is far different from your story but in a way, we all have struggles. It's just a matter of who guides your ship, who's in the storm with you?
