Storylines evolving around relationships built on an untruth by way of "omission", use of "ambiguity", and/or "outright lies". This book is a fictional drama that focuses on three women (that could just as easily be men) who discover they are caught in a situation that involves lies from their significant other and that have devastating effects on their self-esteem and pride. "Lies" was originally written during the late 1990's, but as lies often are - remains a very relevant topic today.
