My name is Peter Alessandria. I'm an Author, Speaker, Filmmaker, Photographer and former Entertainment Attorney. In the past few years, I've won 75 Awards for my photography. My pictures have been published in newspapers and magazines and seen online by millions of people. I've sold prints of my photos to collectors as far away as Australia (I'm from New Jersey: -) ).And I also became an Official Photographer for one of the world's preeminent fireworks performance companies, travelling the world taking photos of their shows. And I did all this without ever taking an art or photography class.
Now I'm not saying all this to brag. Rather, what if I told you that before 2012, I never won an award for anything? That for most of my life I was paralyzed with the fear of rejection and criticism? That my negative self-image caused me to avoid many work and social situations that could have been good for me? And that I usually ended up quitting things before I even started?
